    MY LEARNING PATH DURING THIS COURSE Hi, my name is Gustavo Rendon and I enjoy a lot of being an English teacher here in Bariloche and teaching children. Teaching is one of my greatest passions in life since it makes me feel that I can make a difference in the world.  I am really in my element when I am in the classroom and students give me tons of energy as well as many challenges to resolve, something that is obviously part of our great profession.   I consider that the aim of this challenging module and the creation of this portfolio, was mainly how to put into practice what I am still doing in my endless formation as an English teacher: Keep on learning . It has not been easy for me to do this course and especially to know how I will adapt and convey the theoretical principles of this first module and to carry out this material into full practice in a classroom full of energetic young learners with different social conditions. MY TAKE-AWAYS FROM THIS COURSE

  MY TAKE-AWAYS 1- Their interest in how we, as teachers, see their world. It means that we need to have our students as the centre of our pedagogical world. 2- My model after the pandemic: The new school: to accompany the young learner in his/her new  discoveries. 3- My challenge: Guiding and inspiring the learners through playing consciously with the new tech tools.

  ENSEÑAR Y APRENDER CON TECNOLOGÍAS DIGITALES MY REFLEXION: I think that in this pandemic-digital era, one of our main responsibilities with our students, is to make a good use of ICT tools during the lessons since they help to make the students  more motivated for the learning process. Moreover, ICT tools are a must at this particular moment of our teaching practice, that is why I have to be updated in order to use them meaningfully with my students.  Another important responsibility is to develop autonomy and critical thinking with my students as I consider that these skills will help them to understand the real world once they finished school.

TRACES OF MY LEARNING PATH   What new questions have been triggered in you? Some questions that have been triggered in me are:  1-What are the key elements that empower our job as English teachers in this technological era?  2-  -How do children learn and experience the English language with these new technological tools? 3- How to connect the excellent theory given in the course with the reality of our schools? 4-  What aspects and tools do I have to consider when selecting technological materials to engage children with learning difficulties in English learning?  Any new goals that you would like to set for next stages in your professional development? I would describe this course as a journey to  my childhood but with the vision of  an adult observing and reflecting about that magical and wise world of technology and ready to relearn  with new eyes.
